Los Angeles, California Jessica Wu, MD is a Harvard-educated, board-certified Dermatologist. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Wu is a member of the medical staff of St. John’s Hospital and serves as Clinical Instructor in Dermatology at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.
A leading expert in the field of Dermatology, Dr. Wu serves as a consultant and speaker for Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox Cosmetic. In 2002, her office was selected as a National Training Center for Botox. She lectures and instructs other physicians from around the country on the proper use of this product. Dr. Wu has also contributed to a major textbook of Dermatology.
A familiar media personality both in the U.S. and abroad, Dr. Wu has appeared as a featured medical expert on Inside Edition, E! Entertainment Television, Fox News, Lifetime Channel for Women, TF1 (French Television) and WRTL (German Television). She has also been featured on National Public Radio. Her editorial credits include such publications as Newsweek, Fortune, Elle, Glamour, First for Women, Beauty Fashion, Cosmopolitan, Fitness, Shape and Teen.
Dr. Wu holds numerous professional affiliations. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Medical Association, Los Angeles Metropolitan Dermatology Society, Los Angeles County Medical Association and California Medical Association.
In addition to her current teaching responsibilities at LA County-USC Medical Center, Dr. Wu’s academic appointments have included Consulting Specialist, Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. A graduate of Harvard Medical School, where she also completed an internship in Internal Medicine, Dr. Wu subsequently completed a Dermatology residency at University of Southern California (USC). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from USC.
