John Robert Hamill, Jr., M.D. has been practicing in the Hudson area for the last 25 years. He is well known for his skin cancer surgery. He attended the University oof Michigan and received his Medical degree from Wayne State University. He completed his one-year internal medicine internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. Residence in dermatology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Hamill has been a board certified dermatologist since 1984.

Dr. Hamill is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of South Florida. He is currently teaching skin cancer surgery to residents. He serves as the Director of the Advanced Skin Cancer Clinic. He is currently on the board and the alternate delagate for the advisory board of the AAD for the Florida West Coast Society of Dermatology. He is currently on the board of directors of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery and the Membership Comittee Chair. Other Associations include: Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Society for Dermatological Surgery, Fellow of the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Fellow of the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, and a Board Certified Fellow of the American Society of MOHS Surgeons. Memberships include: American Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology, Florida Medical Society, Pasco Medical Society, International Society of Dermatologic Surgery,and Past President of the Florida West Coast Society of Dermatology.Past president Florida Society of Dermatological Surgery. Past board member of the American Society of Mohs Surgery.
