As the Director of South Orlando Dermatology, Dr. Meisenheimer has been in solo practice in Orlando since 1987. Listed by “Orlando Magazine” as one of the top Doctors in Orlando, he also serves as Chief of the Dermatology Section of Orlando Regional HealthCare System. His practive encompasses both the medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails. He strobgly believes in the traditional medical approach where the physician himself evaluates and makes treatment plans for his patients.

-Experienced Skin Cancer Surgeon with emphasis on cosmetic repairs with over 10,000 cases.

-Over fifteen years experience as a laser surgeon

-Advanced Patch Testing for contact dermatitis, one of the few centers in Central Florida offering the North American Contact Dermatitis Group and extended series.

-Cosmetic removal of moles, benign skin growths and lentigenes (age spots).

Dr. Meisenheimer, his wife and three sons reside in Southwest Orlando. He is involved in the local community where he serves as President of Team Orlando Masters Swimming, is on the Board of Directors of the YMCA Aquatic Center where he received the honor of “Volunteer of the Year” for the Central Florida YMCA Association in 1998. He has served as coach of the Orange COunty Special Olympics Swimming since 1994.

Dr. Meisenheimer is also considered the county’s authority on the history and collecting of the yo-yo. He is author of the book, “Lucky’s Collectors Guide to 20th Century Yo-Yos” and holds the Guiness World Record for the Largest Yo-Yo Collection. He serves as Chairman of both the History and Collecting Committee and World Records Committee for the American Yo-Yo Association.

Finally, Dr. Meisenheimer has been a competitive swimmer for over 30 years. As a scholarship swimmer and record holder at EKU he was selected as NCAA scholar athlete. He has continued his swimming winning in Masters’ National Titles and setting Masters’ World Resords. He has attained a Level 5 Coaching Certification for Masters’ Swimming which is the highest level. He has hosted open water swims at his home since 1988.
