Pinellas Park, Florida Dr. Virginia Schekorra received her Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science and Education as well as her Masters Degree from Northeast Missouri State University and is a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Dermatology residency at Pinellas Community Hospital in Pinellas Park, Florida. Dr. Schekorra enjoys pediatric dermatology and received pediatric dermatology training at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is certified by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners with post-graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecologic medicine.
Dr. Schekorra’s specialties include general dermatology, skin cancer surgery, laser surgery, chemical peels, mini tummy tucks and vein therapy. She is actively involved in training residents and interns through Suncoast Hospital and Northside Hospital. Dr. Schekorra has received national awards for various papers exemplifying her research in melanoma.
