Dr. Vic J. Khanna grew up in the Chicago suburb of Naperville and was always interested in becoming a physician. He received his undergraduate education at Northwestern University where he was a member of the honors program in Medical Education and obtained his baccalaureate degree in Economics. He went to medical school at Northwestern University Medical School followed by an Internship in Internal Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He then moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he completed his dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University where he was also Chief Resident. In addition to authoring numerous articles in the medical literature during his residency, Dr. Khanna became active on the American Academy of Dermatology’s FDA/Liaison and Managed Care Committees. He currently serves on the Academy’s Education for the 21st Century panel.
Dr. Khanna continues to lecture at a local and national level to educate dermatologists, primary care physicians and the public at large on topics of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. He is committed to the advancement and treatment of patients with skin conditions and diseases. His interests include medical dermatology, skin cancer surgery, phototherapy with UVB and PUVA, chemical peels, cutaneous laser surgery, Botox and collagen injections and sclerotherapy for spider veins.
