BILLING ERROR NIGHTMARE
Office staff fouled up my account–didn’t credit me for payment, didn’t bill Insurance for some procedures, never sent me a correct statement; THEN sent my account to collections. Now it’s on my permanent credit record, which is spotless otherwise (FICO was 810)
This fiasco took me 9 months to get corrected–i.e. find out the correct amount owed ($48.96). They even returned my first check for this amount, so I had to pay them a second time! I have a stack of documentation ready to prove my story.
I have always paid Dr. Tawfik for his services, all I ask is that he send a CORRECT STATEMENT. Is that too much to ask? Apparently it is.
