Dr. Alexander Zemtsov received his B.A. degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Temple University, and a Master of Science Degree in Biological Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. In 1986, Dr. Zemtsov graduated with honors from New York University School of Medicine in Manhattan. After completing his Dermatology training program at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, he was immediately offered an academic position at the Medical School in Texas.
In Texas, Dr. Zemtsov taught young physicians how to become competent Dermatologists. In 1994, Dr. Zemtsov was recruited and decided to relocate to central Indiana. He is both a certified Dermatologist and a Senior Dermatologist at University Dermatology Center, P.C., and at Richmond Dermatology Center. In addition to full time clinical private practice, Dr. Zemtsov holds academic appointments at Indiana University School of Medicine, Ball State University in Medical education, and is on a volunteer faculty at the Department of Dermatology at University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. Dr. Zemtsov is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review of Physicians, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
