Dr. Donn LaTour is a Board Certified dermatologist. Along with his M.D. degree he also completed a Ph.D. in the area of biochemistry/molecular biology. He completed his training at Loma Linda University. While at Loma Linda University he also completed a rigorous program in Moh’s Micrographic Surgery which is a highly effective method to remove skin cancers. He opened his office in Marshall, MI in 1997.
Dr. Donn LaTour’s office specializes in the treatment of all types of skin cancers including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. In addition to the removal of these skin cancers Dr. LaTour also specializes in the reconstruction of the area of the face or body where the skin cancer is removed.
His office also treats the broad spectrum of general dermatologic diseases including acne, mole removal, psoriasis, hair loss, nail diseases, warts, spider veins, rashes and aging skin. He also enjoys working with pediatric patients and their families.
This office also has several lasers for the treatment of various dermatologic problems. This includes a CO2 laser for the treatment of warts. He also has a vascular laser for the treatment of spider veins. Most recent is the addition of the newest technology in the treatment of wrinkles, the Cool Touch laser which allows treatments with virtually no down time involved. He also performs laser hair removal in his office.
