As a young professional in medicine, my practice of dermatology is based on up to date training and information, with a healthy and rewarding life being keys to healthy, beautiful skin. My philosophy for my patients is to provide accurate information and treatment coupled with effective applications and routines that fit into busy, active lives.
Modern Dermatology had evolved into three principles. Medical Dermatology encompasses basic itches and rashes to life-threatening skin diseases such as skin cancer. Surgical Dermatology involves the manipulation of the skin by hand and knife, under the cerebral guidance of the eye with the goal of achieving a cure, most often to remove skin cancer. Cosmetic Dermatology imposes upon the skin the art and culture through knife, collagen, Botox, sclerotherapy, glycolic acid peels, etc.
My educational background, training and skill set combines these three principals into a complete and thorough practice of Dermatology, addressing both a patient’s health-related needs and cosmetic goals.
I chose the field of Dermatology because it fascinated me and I find it personally rewarding. With that in mind, I am always in a state of learning about the latest advances and treatments, and continue to expand and update my skills to provide the best possible solutions for my patients.
I have a strong belief in the individual – that is, that everyone can look and feel their best, at the age they are at. I work “with” patients to decide what individually fits them and how to most effectively execute and achieve their personal best with regard to their skin.
