Rye, New York Dr. Engler completed her medical training at Columbia University, College of Physicians & Surgeons in 1980. This was followed by two years of a pediatric residency at Babies Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and a three year residency in Dermatology at Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Engler was board certified in 1985. She worked as a pediatric dermatologist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center from 1985-1989 and then joined a multispeciality group practice in Westchester, NY from 1989-98. Throughout this time, she was an active part-time faculty member of the Department of Dermatology, Presbyterian Hospital, where she taught medical students and supervised dermatology residents. In 1999, she joined the full-time faculty of the Department of Dermatology, New York Presbyterian Hospital as the Residency Program Director and the Clinic Director. She is currently the Clinic Director. Dr. Engler sees private patients in Rye, NY twice a week (Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings) at the office of Drs. Ruth and Eric Treiber.
