Lance Barazani, M.D., F.A.A.D., has been an associate at Advanced Dermatology since 1994. A board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Barazani received his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in internal medicine at University Hospital Stony Brook, New York, and his dermatology residency at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr. Barazani performed his fellowship studies at the Laboratory For Investigative Dermatology, Rockefeller University, New York City and Research Dermatology at the Rockefeller University in Manhattan. His research work on wound healing and skin disorders such as psoriasis has been published in numerous medical journals, including the Journal of Investigative Dermatology. Dr. Barazani is also a member of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons and Performs natural hair transplants on a regular basis. Dr. Barazani is the Director of the Natural Hair Transplant of Advanced Dermatology and the Center for Laser and cosmetic Surgery.
