Stephen E. Presser, M.D. is a Board certified Dermatologist and Board certified Mohs/Dermatologic surgeon in private practice for 17 years. His forte is laser, chemical peel, skin cancer and general dermatology. He was awarded Best Teacher of the Year by the Dermatology Residents of the University of Rochester School of Medicine Dermatology Department. He trained the second Mohs skin cancer surgeon for Columbia and trained a Board certified Dermatologist over three years for the American Osteopathic Association. Currently he trains Family Practice and Internal Medicine Residents for the University of Rochester.
Dr. Presser was Co-Director of the Dermatology Surgery Clinic at University of Rochester for 7 years and currently is Clinical Associated Professor in both the Department of Surgery and Dermatology. He founded and was elected President of the Upstate New York Society of Dermatologic Surgery. His expertise as a clinician has also forced him to teach his trade. He is constantly attending regional, national and local Dermatology meetings to be on the cutting edge. He reads the current Dermatology journals and has been an “expert witness”.
