Dr. Bergamo grew up in St. Petersburg, FL and attended Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC from which she graduated with honors in Biology in 1991. She then attended East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, NC and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She became interested in Dermatology during her medical school years and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for her Dermatology residency in 1998.

After completing her resdiency in 2001, Dr. Bergamo was appointed Assistant Professor of Dermatology ant the Univeristy of Alabama at Birmingham where she was also Co-Director of the Phototherapy Treatment Center and Medical Director of the Interdisciplinary Infusion Center.

Dr. Bergamo joined Viewmont Dermatology in Hickory, NC in 2005 and has interests in both medical and surgical dermatology. She enjoys seeing both pediatric and adult patients. She has special interest in diagnosing and treating skin cancer, psoriasis, acne, and hyperhidrosis. She also has interest in the prevention and treatment of photoaging.
