Chapel Hill, North Carolina Dr. Sue Ellen Cox is a board-certified dermatologist who is the Medical Director of Aesthetic Solutions in Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. Cox received her Doctor of Medicine from Case Western University in Cleveland and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas where she did her residency in dermatology. She is an active Fellow, member, and lecturer for several organizations; including The American Academy of Dermatology; the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Cox is an Associate Clinical Professor for the University of North Carolina Medical Center at Chapel Hill. Dr. Cox has numerous publications in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Archives of Dermatology. Dr. Cox is one of 10 members on the American Society for Dermatologic surgery’s tumescent liposuction board. She was recently elected to be editor for the liposuction council bulletin for the Dermatologic Surgery Journal. Dr. Cox is on the Facial Esthetic Enhancement board. She trains physicians to use Botox and filling agents. She lectures both locally and nationally on cosmetic dermatology.
