After attending a public High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Helen M. Torok attended Case Western Reserve University from 1966 – 1970, majoring in Biology. This led to an acceptance at Ohio State Medical School in the Pilot Self-Study Program from 1970 – 1973. An early interest in Dermatology in Medical School prompted a two-year Internal Medicine rotation at Akron General Medical Center. This broad base in Internal Medicine was a base for the next three years of Dermatology training at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Torok has been in private practice since 1978, treating all dermatological disorders in both the pediatric and adult patient. Her office specializes in chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, CoolTouch laser wrinkle treatment, and the Iriderm vascular laser. All of these modalities do not cause any damage to the uppermost layer of the skin, so a patient can resume normal activities the following day. Dr. Torok also offers Neostrate, MD Forte, Skinceuticals and Citrex anti-aging products which are customized for each patient. Our office welcomes new patients.
