Dr. Wiley obtained his M.D. from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where he had also completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree. He was the second African American to complete this prestigious seven-year program. As an undergraduate at Brown, he was twice selected as a Medical Education Program Fellow for independent medical research. During his graduate years, he served as a regional director of the Student National Medical Association and was named the first United Airline Fellow in the Brown University Medical Education Program.

Dr. Wiley practiced dermatology in Oklahoma and Kansas. Throughout his years of practice, he has emphasized the concept of attaining and maintaining beauty through healthy skin care. Indeed, he developed the cosmetic company Beauty Thru Health, Inc., on that premise, which continues to guide him in his cosmetic dermatology practice.

Dr. Wiley has continued to earn acknowledgments from lay and professional sources, including selection as an Honored Member in the National Directory of Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals since 1994. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is the past Chairman of the Dermatology Section of the National Medical Association, representing African American Dermatologists in the USA.
