Colaiacovo graduated cum laude from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1993, and went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1994, and her Dermatology residency in 1997, where she served as Chief Resident in Dermatology from 1996 -1997. In 1997, Dr. Colaiacovo earned her CME recognition award from the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Dermatology.
