Rapid City, South Dakota Dr. Vassilia D. Young graduated from Medical School in 1991 at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, at the top 5% of her class. She continued her schooling at Madison to complete her Internal Medicine Residency in 1993, and her Dermatology Residency in 1996. Dr. Young is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Young has special interests in skin cancer treatment; hair transplantation; facial peels for the treatment of acne, pigment blotchiness and aging changes of the skin; sclerotherapy, and laser treatments for port wine stains, birthmarks, wrinkles and tattoo removal. The University Physicians Clinic also has outreach clinics in Hot Springs, Deadwood, Sturgis, Gillette, Pierre and Spearfish.
