Dr. E. Stanley Rodier earned his B.S. in Psychology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1968. He next attended McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada medical school from 1969 – 1972, where he was a student representative for both the Medical School Admission Committee, and the Dermatology Curriculum Planning Committee. Dr. Rodier attended McGill University Teaching Hospital in Montreal until 1974 for his Internship, where he was also Treasurer of the Interns’ and Residents’ Association. From 1973 – 1976, Dr. Rodier served his Residency at New York University Skin and Cancer. During this time, he researched: The etiology, pathogenesis, clinical and genetic analysis of patient with neurofibromatosis: The relationship of nerve growth factor to clinical manifestations in patients and their families. Dr. Rodier became an exchange resident at Harvard University, Boston, until June 1975, and completed his Fellowship in 1977 for Chemosurgery, at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Dr. Rodier is certified since 1977 with the Quebec Board of Dermatology, the Canadian Board of Dermatology, and the American Board of Dermatology, and since 1981 with the American Board of Dermatopathology. For 20 years, Dr. Rodier had his private practice in San Diego, and is now currently in practice in the La Jolla and Poway areas of California.
