Salt Lake City, Utah Dr. Leonard J. Swinyer has been in private practice in the Salt Lake City area for more than 30 years, and is also a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Utah. Dr. Swinyer earned his Medical Degree at the University of Vermont and completed an Internal Medicine and Pathology Internship and Residency at the University of Utah. Following his Residency program, Dr. Swinyer did service in the U.S. Navy as Chief of Pathology Services at Quantico Naval Base in Virginia. He then completed his Dermatology Residency at the University of Oregon, becoming Board certified in Dermatology in 1973.
